Definition
The Guest’s experience as a designed arc — opened by the host at the door, run by the server and bartender at the table and bar, supported by the full cast in position, and closed by the host at the goodbye. One loop from arrival to departure, held together by deliberate handoffs, run by three lead disciplines (door talk, table talk, bar talk), read by the Lead from altitude and led through the shift.
Explanation
No scripts. Every actor reading and responding to the Guest in front of them. Names travel the loop. Handoffs connect it. The read drives every decision in it. When the loop holds, the Guest feels the sense of being in a room built for them. When it breaks — when a handoff drops, when a script replaces a read, when a cast member moves on task timing instead of Guest timing — the Guest feels that too. The loop is what the operator designs in Product. Performance is where the Lead runs it through the shift. The two fundamentals meet on the loop and nowhere else.
