An operator convinced they’re achieving Road 2 outcomes has no reason to examine whether their actual mechanics are Road 1, which means the affordability lie, the fine-dining exemption, and the measurement-level lie can all keep running undetected underneath a surface claim of relational success that was never actually earned.
