The five-step discipline that runs continuously through every fundamental, at every level of the operation, compounding the accuracy of the operator’s read, the quality of the design, the precision of the execution, and the speed of the recalibration with each iteration.
Explanation
Recalibration is not correction. Correction fixes a deviation from an existing design — the design stays the same, the operator just gets the execution back on track. Recalibration updates the design itself, because the re-read has revealed that the design is no longer current. Those are two different operator moves, and confusing them is a common failure.
The operator who corrects without recalibrating returns the operation to zero — back to the same design, waiting for the same gap to reopen. The operator who recalibrates moves the operation forward, because the design itself gets better with each pass. That’s the compounding mechanism: not that the operator works harder each cycle, but that each cycle produces a sharper design than the one before it.
