One of the Four Reframes of [The Future State Lens], one of four bandwidths (Money, Time, Trust, Systems) the lens applies across. The reframe: stops being “I can’t afford a hire” and becomes “what revenue level do I need to hit to afford the first hire, and what am I doing today to get there?”

Explanation

The reframe moves the operator from a static complaint to a dynamic target. “I can’t afford it” describes the present and stops there — it’s a fact about today with no path attached. “What revenue level gets me there, and what am I doing today toward it” describes a destination and a current action, which is a plannable problem instead of a fixed constraint.

This is the same move the other three bandwidths under [The Future State Lens] make — Time, Trust, and Systems presumably get the identical reframe treatment, converting “I don’t have X” into “what level of X do I need, and what’s today’s step toward it.” The lens turns scarcity language into roadmap language.
