Explanation

The [Trainer] and the [Lead] split the same territory two different ways, and the split is deliberate. The [Trainer] is trusted, not audited, until the trainee graduates — that trust is what makes the training relationship work, because a trainee who suspects every rep is being scored trains differently than one who trusts the person teaching them. The [Lead] is the one who audits, but audits the process, not the [Trainer] themselves, which is exactly why the shared disambiguation question exists: when something goes wrong with a trainee, the question isn’t “did the Trainer fail” by default, it’s “is this the trainee or the process” — and only after that question gets answered does responsibility get assigned.
