Named verbal sequence, Beat 3 of the Reader’s Roadmap. Function: each fundamental feeds the next; break any one and everything downstream breaks. Sequence: right perspective creates right decision-making, right decision-making puts the right cast in place, right cast produces the right experiences, right product attracts the right Guests, right performance produces success.

Explanation

The sequence reads almost like a syllogism, and that’s the point — each link is presented as a direct causal consequence of the one before it, which makes the whole chain testable rather than aspirational. If an operator’s performance numbers are weak, [The Cascade] gives a diagnostic path backward: check the product, check the cast, check the decision-making, check the perspective the decisions were made from.

The break-any-link clause is the operational teeth of the term. It’s tempting to treat the five fundamentals as five parallel, independently improvable areas — fix profit here, fix people there — but [The Cascade] insists they’re sequential and dependent, not parallel. A cast problem downstream of a perspective problem cannot be solved by working on the cast in isolation; the fix has to travel back up the chain to wherever the actual break occurred.
