Explanation

Most operations run on an unwritten, unowned standard — “right” lives in the GM’s head, or in whatever the last correction happened to be. [The Operator’s Ideal Path] replaces that with something written down and owned: a single artifact that states, across all five fundamentals, what right actually looks like.

The value isn’t the document itself, it’s what the document makes possible. Without a written ideal path, every read is a comparison against a moving, undocumented target — which means two leads can disagree about whether something is right and both be arguing from a standard that exists only in memory. With it, the comparison has a fixed reference point, and coaching becomes measuring against the path instead of litigating whose memory of “right” is correct.
