Results By The Numbers

You just saw the numbers.

16,883 hourly employees. 2,477 unit leaders. 158 multi-unit leaders. 34 openings. 964,447 miles. Sales up. Costs down. Turnover down. Forty-plus years of it.

The numbers are the last thing.

Here is what produced them.

What Did The Producing

44 years of being in the building before the numbers could exist.

Doing the work that no credential produces — the 11pm decisions, the pre-shift line-up that surfaced the problem, the cast conversations, the financial reads in real time, the lease renegotiation that saved the store, the Guest interactions that told the truth the P&L would not surface for another 30 days.

Learning what the right decision was by making the wrong one enough times to recognize the pattern. Building the read discipline that makes the right decision faster the next time. And the time after that. And the time after that.

That upstream work produced the thinking. The thinking produced the decisions. The decisions produced the numbers.

The numbers are just the record of what the upstream work was worth.

What The Numbers Do Not Show

Every figure on the homepage is a lagging indicator. It is what was produced, not what did the producing.

The numbers do not show the 200+ operators who each got a version of that thinking applied to their specific operation.

They do not show the calls that started with “I know something is wrong and I do not know what it is” and ended with the operator seeing the shape of their own read for the first time.

They do not show the reps. Every operator. Every conversation. Every building.

That is what you buy when you engage. Not the number. The thinking that produced the number, applied to your building.

The Number That Is Not On This Page

There is one number that is not on the homepage and is not on this page.

The number you produce.

That number cannot be measured in advance. It is produced in the engagement — in your specific operation, in your specific gap between what you are producing now and what you are capable of producing.

What I can tell you is that every number on the homepage was built the same way. One rep at a time. Upstream of the outcome. In the building where the work actually happens.

Your building is the next rep.

Who I Work With

If you know something is wrong and you are ready to find out what it actually is, I can help. If you want someone to validate bad decisions — I am not your man.

I work with operators who are willing to look at their operational universe honestly and do the work that produces a different result. Ambitious leaders who want to define their future, not hide from it.
