The private working engagement. On the specific work you already know needs doing.
“Every choice an operator makes is made by design or by default. There is no third option.”
— The Operator’s Playbook, Volume 1: Perspective — Section 1.6, By Design Or By Default
Dinner the evening before. A full working day the next. Uninterrupted access to me on the operator work only you can bring.
The One-On-One™ is the private working engagement in the offering stack. Not a diagnostic. Not a Review. A dedicated block of my time and attention on the specific work you need to move — strategic, operational, positional, or personal — that requires the kind of thinking partnership no scheduled session can produce.
Dinner sets the frame. The next day does the work. What comes out is the direction you needed to see and could not name from inside your own operation.
The operator who brings the specific work to a private working day is designing the decision. The operator who lets the decision drift is deciding by default. The One-On-One™ is the design move.
Who
You are the operator, owner, or executive who already knows what the work is. You are not asking for a diagnosis. You are asking for direct access to a thinking partner on a specific decision, a specific strategic bet, a specific transition, or a specific problem you cannot resolve with the people around you.
If you want the operation read from the outside, that is the OffsiteReview™. If you want the operation read from inside the building, that is the OnsiteReview™. The One-On-One™ is different work — direct, private, dedicated access on the work you already know needs doing.
How The One-On-One Works
The One-On-One™ runs the Framework applied to the specific work you bring. Not a generic strategic offsite. Not a facilitated planning day. Not a template. Your specific decision, your specific transition, your specific strategic bet, your specific problem — worked through directly with the Framework applied to what it actually is.
You bring the work. The day works it. You execute after. The One-On-One™ is not a delivery product and it is not a development product — it is a compressed working engagement on the operator work only you can bring. My job in the room is thinking partner. Your job before and after is the operator work.
Scope
Dinner the evening before — the frame-setting conversation. A full working day the following day — the work itself. Prework is always required and contextual to what the work will need to draw from — the decision on the table, the strategic read, the operator or organizational context, whatever the day will need to actually move.
Two directions. You pick at checkout.
Operator Travels To Jeffrey. You fly to Fort Worth or Las Vegas. Dinner and the working day happen where I am.
Jeffrey Travels To Operator. I fly to your city. Dinner and the working day happen where your operation is. Travel, one night’s lodging, and ground transport are included in the fee.
Bring your team if the work calls for it. Additional attendees are $1,500 per person. Some One-On-Ones are one operator, one working day. Some are the operator plus two or three of the leaders whose read the day requires. The composition follows the work.
Get
A full working day of uninterrupted access. Every question you have brought, worked through directly. The strategic reads applied to the specific decision, transition, or bet in front of you. The read from 44 years of pattern recognition across 200+ operations, applied to your operator work at the level you are operating at.
A written debrief follows the working day — the decisions worked, the direction locked, the specific next moves, the leading indicators to watch as the work moves forward. Not a report. A record of the work we did together, in your hands, on paper.
Investment
Two variations. Pick your direction at checkout.
- Operator Travels To Jeffrey — $6,500
- Jeffrey Travels To Operator — $8,000
Additional attendees at $1,500 per person.
For the Operator Travels variation: your travel to Fort Worth or Las Vegas is on you. For the Jeffrey Travels variation: my travel, one night’s lodging, and ground transport are included in the fee.
The One-On-One™ credit applies at half its value toward the first period of any subsequent Coaching or Consulting engagement, or toward Fractional Ops Leadership. One credit per client. Does not combine with any other offer.
Not
Not a diagnostic Review — that is the OffsiteReview™ or OnsiteReview™. Not an ongoing Coaching engagement. Not Consulting. Not a workshop — ThinkWorx™ is the workshop product. Not a private retreat. Not a mastermind. This is one operator (plus team if the work requires it) with me for one dinner and one full working day, on the specific operator work only you can bring.
