Fees
All speaking and facilitation engagements are priced on a day-rate basis. Engagements requiring multiple days or more than two presentations in a single day are priced accordingly. Contact me directly to discuss scope and rate.
Audio and Video Recording
Recording is permitted and included in the speaking fee. I retain full copyright to all recorded material. A limited license is granted to the event organizer for internal distribution to event attendees only. External distribution, resale, or broadcast of any recorded material requires a separate written agreement. That conversation starts with a call.
Non-Profits and Trade Organizations
I occasionally provide speaking services pro-bono to select non-profit, trade, and charitable organizations whose mission directly serves the improvement of the hospitality industry or underserved operator communities. If you believe your event qualifies, contact me with details and I will consider the request.
Travel
I travel from Dallas, Texas — Love Field (DAL) preferred, DFW available. Flights under three hours are booked economy. Flights over three hours are booked business class. Travel costs are estimated and paid in advance.
Accommodations
Check-in is booked for the night before the engagement with checkout the day after. This ensures I arrive rested and without travel delay. Two-night minimum.
Deposits and Payment
A 50% deposit is required to hold any date. The balance is due upon arrival, before the presentation. Payment by company check, cashier’s check, money order, or bank transfer. Credit cards accepted via PayPal — client covers all transaction fees.
Materials
I do not produce handouts as a standard deliverable. Upon request, a copy of the presentation can be made available through jeffreysummers.com/ for event attendees.
