The 100% Effective Guarantee

"The Guarantee Is Simple. The Math Is Straightforward."

Most consultants hedge their guarantees into meaninglessness. Results may vary. Individual outcomes depend on effort. Past performance is not indicative of future results. By the time you finish reading the fine print, the guarantee has guaranteed nothing.

This one is different.

Everything I do — every engagement, every recommendation, every piece of advice I put in front of you — carries my name on it. That is not a marketing statement. It is the operating principle behind the guarantee. If what I deliver does not work for your business, I work for free until it does. No negotiation. No fine print. No expiration date on the commitment.

Three things worth saying plainly before we go further:

These are not disclaimers. They are the terms of a working relationship between two professionals who both have skin in the game.

One — you have to want to change.
I cannot help an operator who does not want to be helped, and I do not try. If you are not ready to change how you see or run your operation, no engagement — with me or anyone else — will produce a different outcome. This is also why most training does not work. The operator shows up looking for confirmation, not recalibration. I am not in the confirmation business.

Two — I give you my best advice. What you do with it is yours.
I will tell you exactly what I see, exactly what I think it means, and exactly what I would do about it. Whether you act on that advice is your decision. An operator who consistently chooses not to act on sound advice is not experiencing a consulting problem — they are experiencing a lost opportunity cost problem. I will name that clearly if it comes up.

Three — I will help you execute a plan I believe has a chance. I will not help you fail.
If there are three options and I recommend the first but you prefer the second and I think it will work, I will help you execute the second. If you prefer the third and I am certain it will not work, I will tell you that — and I will not take your money to watch it fail. A consultant who says yes to everything is not an advisor. They are a vendor. I am not a vendor.

The qualitative guarantee:

If you do not find any product or service you have purchased from me effective for your business, I will continue working with you at no charge until you do. The engagement does not end when the invoice is paid. It ends when the work has done what it was supposed to do.

The quantitative guarantee:

The goal of every engagement is a 1,000% return on your investment — in cost savings, top-line sales growth, or a combination of both.

Anything less than a 10x return does not justify the disruption, the time, and the commitment a real engagement requires from you — so that is the target we build toward from day one.

The math is straightforward. A 12-month coaching engagement at $25,000 carries a $250,000 ROI target. If we do not reach it, I keep working until we do. Before any engagement begins, we agree on the specific business goals and metrics that define success. You know exactly what we are working toward and exactly what the guarantee covers.

One more thing: when the formal engagement ends, I do not disappear. I will call you six months later to see how things are going. Sometimes I show up in person. The relationship does not end because the checks stopped. I do not stop adding value just because the invoice is closed.
