The Demand
This week you build the conditions for [Shared Pulse] deliberately — consistent scheduling, a synchronizing pre-shift, a reflective post-shift — because this coordination cannot be installed through training, it builds through reps, and a cast assembled last week will not move like a cast with two hundred shared shifts unless you protect the repetition that builds it.
The Work
- Pull this week’s schedule and check for consistency: is the same cast working together across shifts, or is scheduling scattering the same people who need shared reps.
- Run a pre-shift ritual this week that synchronizes attention before every service — not a checklist read-aloud, an actual moment of shared focus.
- Run a post-shift this week that reflects on how the cast moved together, not only on what went wrong. Name one moment of mutual anticipation specifically — who lined up a solution before the problem was named.
- Watch for emotional alignment under pressure this week: does the cast visibly settle together during a crisis moment, or does it scatter into individual panic. Name what you observed at post-shift.
- If scheduling is fragmenting your most cohesive cast groupings, correct the schedule this week to protect shared shift time over convenience.
This week, protect one scheduling block that keeps your most cohesive cast group working together, and name one moment of mutual anticipation at post-shift.
